Slow Cooker Chicken and Stuffing Casserole
Slow Cooker Chicken and Stuffing Casserole

"Living in a 100-year-old farmhouse, we feel every little change in the weather. We hear the pitter patter of rain on our tin roof, we feel the thick humidity of the Central Virginia summers seep through our walls, and we listen to the howling wind as it screams through the doors. There is no mistaking that it’s winter right now, the weather is frigid, and all that we want to do is sit by the wood stove with a mug of tea. This is the time of year for comfort food, and nothing beats a classic Slow Cooker Chicken and Stuffing Casserole for an easy dinner. With carrots, broccoli, chicken and stuffing all cooked in a creamy sauce, it’s a true one pot meal that warms our bodies, nourishes our souls, and takes the chill off of these cold February nights!"

But I can relate to the winters in VA.. Lived there 09/62----- 05/72.... but I spent time in a converted farmhouse.. The Amish converted it and I rented it from them.. But I will try this recipe.. I can see dumplin's served with this.

This is a great way to get your fix of thanksgiving flavors any time of the year! This reminds me of what we frequently do with holiday leftovers - put a little bit of everything in a bowl and reheat. The chicken flavor cream soup almost tastes like gravy, and it is quite healthy!

Oh my gosh, this sounds so so good! And really easy to put together. It does not require me to measure out numerous spices from my pantry, either, and I appreciate that. Couple cans of condensed soups, frozen broccoli, carrots, and your choice of chicken pieces. That is it. Oh, and you don't have to make stuffing from scratch. You use premade mix from a box. This is weeknight friendly -)

Couldn't pull up the recipie

I love eating chicken and the more ways I can cook and serve it the better, plus it is healthier eating too! I love the fact that it is a one pot meal also, less clean up. The only thing I would do differently is use a liner to make it even easier to clean up. Otherwise it sounds wonderful.

I never thought of cooking broccoli and carrots with chicken and stuffing, but this looks delicious. I love creamy chicken slow cooker recipes. This looks so easy and will be a meal in itself.
