These look so delicious! I love meatballs in the slow cooker for a pot luck or a party.

I agree with msdeb21, because this recipe makes me want to try out all kinds of recipes with meatballs. My favorite has to be the one that uses grape jelly that someone always brings to my family reunion every August. I get the recipe and forget to write it down, it is super simple, and makes the most moist meatballs. Great post!

First of all, I always make meatballs with ground chuck. Secondly, I have never made meatballs in my slow cooker. Look what I have been missing. These sound fabulous, and oh yeah, I will serve them over mashed potatoes. Now I'm thinking about meatballs with ground breakfast sausage and meatballs with ground Italian sausage. I can't wait to experiment with different flavors of slow cooker meatballs.

I make mine with 3 meats, 2 lbs 97% ground beef,, 1 lb Italian sausage,, 1 lb lamb.. 3 cups purple (HOT) onion,, 2 cups oatmeal,, (BULK),, run this through a blender to make a powder... 2 large eggs,,, Dice a bunch of green onions1/4th ".. Mix and form into balls,,, place in a large baking disk lined with foil.. (5.2qt) Here after 30 mins of cooking,, you can go tomato or mushroom sauce.. I prefer the shroom sauce.. I purchase the powdered (3 packets) shroom sause from thrive market.. Then the diced shrooms from the market,, whites,, shiitake,, portabello.. (box of each)..... Simmer and pour over meatballs about 40 minutes into cooking................. I serve this over a bed of basamiti long grain brown rice..
