I have never ate or tried German potatoes until my mother-in-law stayed with us for a week and said she had not had it in years but her mom use to make it all the time when she was still here so I looked up the recipe and it was so super easy and fast. When I saw cider vinegar in it I cringed at first but it was a nice change from regular potato salad. I will make it again. I did not try the brown sugar. I used white. Does the brown sugar make it sweeter?
