I love pumpkin anything! This pumpkin butter recipe is the easiest recipe ever! Just put all the ingredients in the slow cooker and let it cook! My question is, if you make such a big batch, does it really only last in the freezer for 6 months? I would hate to make that much and have it go to waste. Not that it would in my house, but you never know.

Hi elocin1104, as long as the pumpkin butter is properly stored in the freezer, it might last a bit longer than 6 months. The flavor might not be as good though. A good solution to a big batch would be to give some of it away as gifts! - Natalie, Editor of AllFreeSlowCookerRecipes
