Hold on to your hats -- These Jalapeno Popper Chicken Taquitos are out of this world. This easy chicken taquitos recipe takes cream cheese, jalapenos, and chicken, and stuffs them inside a crispy tortilla. Perfect for a game day appetizer or party, these slow cooker jalapeno popper chicken taquitos are sure to be a hit among your guests. The creaminess of the cream cheese cools down the heat of the jalapenos, and the chicken adds flavor and protein to the meal. Don't miss out having these amazing treats on your menu. Your guests will be blown away by this recipe.

These wouldn't just be great as an appetizer or party food - my family will make these often for dinner as a main dish, or as an accompaniment to a southwest themed salad. Although they are creamy and cheesy, they are still much healthier than those prepared frozen ones, or the fried restaurant version, since they are eventually baked. You could substitute the reduced fat Neufchatel for the cream cheese and it will still taste the same. I love it!
