Ok, how can I come up with the neat ideas like princess6860504 because that is amazing to use the crockpot for melting more than one type of chocolate at the same time? Besides the ease of the idea, you can keep the chocolate in melted form until you are done, so no nuking over and over until you have to throw what is left away because it gets too gloppy and doesn't want to set up right anymore. I love the idea and the pretzels are just the thing to give my family a semi-healthy treat when they want chocolate.

I have made chocolate dipped pretzels before and they make an awesome gift for those whom you don't know what to buy because frankly- they have everything! They are so fun to make and the whole family can get involved. I melted my chocolate in the microwave in a glass bowl, however, I do like this idea much better you fill a crock pot with water (not enough to float a glass jar, though) and turn on high. Your glass jars will be filled with your chips that you are melting. After 30 minutes on high, the chocolate should be melted enough for you to dip the rods. What a neat idea!
