Delicious! I mean, I have not made this yet, but it sure does look delicious to me. Didn't know Amish pot roast was a thing. I normally do not spend my money on a 2-3 pound bone-in chuck roast. I may have to break the bank and give this one a try. I also do not normally or regularly eat red meat, so this would be a treat for me and my family.

I only have the dried oregano. How much of it can I use to make the Amish Pot Roast? I love Amish dishes because they are homemade and they use fresh ingredients. I just don't have the oregano on hand at this time of year. It is so expensive in the grocery store during the winter months.

Hi SissieSass, you'll want to use about 1 1/2 teaspoons of dried oregano since ground oregano is more potent than the dried leaves. - Natalie, Editor of AllFreeSlowCookerRecipes
