From the blogger: "Slow Cooker Ground Beef Lasagna made with lasagna noodles, beef, mozzarella, ricotta, and Parmesan cheese is the ultimate comfort food in just 20 minutes of prep time. Slow Cooker Ground Beef Lasagna is one of a bunch of recent slow cooker pasta dishes we’ve been enjoying at home. I used to shy away from dishes that would take a lot of cook time right before dinner because I am always in a rush in the evenings. When I have time to cook on the weekends, I always make the ultimate meat lasagna recipe I’ve been making for years!"

what size crock pot was this recipe made in, very important. I am making this for my daughters birthday and may need to mke 2 as it will be a big family party. My daughters birthday is Christmas day but she converted to Judaism for her new husband and seeing as they don't celebrate Christmas this my sneaky way of doing her birthday. She is 44 but she is still my Baby Doll.

HUGE fan of fennel here. Hands down the best thing to add to any Italian dish. Oh, and fresh basil leaves at the very end. Fresh flavors and ingredients go a long way! This dish is pretty impressive. I cook with ground turkey not beef, and I am so used to it at this point. I think beef tastes weird. But I would also sub a turkey Italian sausage for the beef

Coming from an Italian family, lasagna has got to be one of my favorite comfort foods. However, making it the traditional way is so time consuming that I don't make it very often - only on weekends. Making it this way may not be as pretty or elegant to serve up, but it does taste just as amazing! That is such a great tip to use the fennel seeds to replicate the flavor of sausage without all the fat! I will use these in a lot of recipes from now on!

This looks so yummy. I will be working from home this year so I won't have a lot of time to cook. This will be easy to do. The only problem is the smell, which looks delicious, may just be distracting. I can prepare it in the morning before I start work and have a warm meal when I am done. Perfect! I love lasagna but don't make it a lot because of the work involved. This recipe will make it much easier. Thank you.

This looks like the perfect winter recipe. I can't wait to try it in the next couple of weeks!
