This recipe for Slow Cooker Chicken with 40 Cloves of Garlic has the most unbelievable taste. Your sinuses may never be the same and your spouse may not want to come near you for a few days, but that presence of garlic is totally worth it. Leaving the 40 cloves in the slow cooker for four hours allows the garlic juices to seep into the chicken giving it a taste and smell you will not soon forget. This dish is nicely paired with noodles or rice. You can pour some of the excess juices over the noodles or rice and enjoy the added flavor.

This is seriously one of my favorite slow cooker recipes

I remember a friend of mine made a dish like this, but it was a whole chicken that she put it in the oven. I love the idea of letting this cook in the slow cooker and allowing the garlic to permeate the chicken and the fact that you can use boneless, skinless breasts. I imagine that this chicken recipe would be a great one to make if you were catching a cold, because garlic may help with that! Got to try this one soon, so I printed out the recipe.
