Do you think I can use the pumpkin pie mix with the spices already in it instead of the puree with the spices? I think I already have the stuff in the cabinet to make this dessert. I love that it has no crust. My mom makes a version of this recipe for Thanksgiving with the extra pie filling she has from the pumpkin pies.

Hi SissieSass, I think you could probably use pumpkin pie mix, but I'm not sure how some of the other ingredients should be adjusted accordingly - especially the sugar. I'd recommend commenting on the blogger's recipe to see what she thinks. - Natalie, Editor of AllFreeSlowCookerRecipes
