If you need more room on the grill for your proteins, whip out your slow cooker and make this recipe for Buttery Dill Corn on the Cob. With only four ingredients, this side dish recipe is super simple to prepare. Be sure to get this going a few hours before you start grilling. That way, you can enjoy this delicious corn on the cob with your steak or chicken. If you're serving someone who's vegetarian, this recipe is perfect for them, because you'll avoid cross-contaminating the corn with the meat on the grill.

Using the aluminum foil packets is a great way to cook fresh sweet corn, since all of the butter and herby goodness doesn't all end up in the bottom of the crock pot. You don't have to roll each corn around on the bottom at the end to try to salvage the flavor, since it is stuck right on the corn throughout the process. I love using fresh dill in simply dressed vegetable dishes like this. You could easily make this recipe vegan friendly just by swapping out the butter for a vegan margarine or butter substitute.
