Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh-cut green beans, ends trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced/pressed
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest (grate rind of lemon)
  • red pepper flakes, to taste

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to slow cooker and mix.

  2. Cover and cook on LOW for 4.5 to 7 hours or on HIGH for 2.5 to 4 hours. Stir occasionally.

  3. Salt and pepper to taste.
