I was browsing looking for new recipes. I like this one because there are two ways to make this. I plan on making two batches. When I make this I plan to prepare one for the freezer and one for dinner this weekend.

This slow cooker honey garlic chicken looks amazing. It has been so long since I've even cooked my chicken with honey. I am glad I ran across this recipe. I use to prepare my thighs in the oven with a little honey drizzled over them. Hoping this is the best-flavored thigh recipe I have tried in a while. Thanks for the recipe.

That is such a great tip to put everything into a bag laying flat in your freezer to make this ahead. It really does cut a ton of time off of defrosting! Rather than broiling the chicken at the end and having to fire up the oven, I would probably just brown the skins in a skillet first with a little olive oil , salt, an pepper. I'd rather do this in the morning, rather than having to wait longer for this delicious meal!
