When I have some leftover in the fridge, I like to add some broccoli florets to this dish, just to use it up. The extra step of searing the beef first before adding it to the crock pot really makes all the difference. It gives the meat a nice crispy exterior that really mimics my favorite Chinese takeout!

I always wondered how they made Asian dishes like this one. I love the veggies and the garnish you chose. It sounds like an authentic version. Do you ever use sesame seeds as a garnish with this dish? Give me a side of rice and I am in heaven with this dish.
