This recipe sounds so delicious. I grew up eating Shepherd's pie. It was always a left over dish but now you see it in a lot of restaurants. The combination of chili and the left over roast beef is a great idea. And of course over mashed potatoes just adds something really special. I always make chili because it is easy and good to eat anytime. Thank you for the recipe.

I have now been tempted to make a chilli pot pie - where you take a savory pastry case - Wal-Mart have them and first fill with your Chilli con / sin Carne top with mashed potato - sprinkle grated Parmesan and try to restrain your enthuisiasm to eat it smells /tastes gloriously - no photo - it was not arouind for long enough - I love your site - I am i9n the UK but like Americam cooking - thank you for letting me visit with you
